Kilmeedy Vintage Run

Description

1918 Triumph Model H "Trusty" on display at Kilmeedy Vintage Run. Owned by the British Army and ridden by Lt. David Alfred Rutherford of the Royal Garrison Artillery during the War of Independence. He was killed in an ambush near Kilworth and the bike was obtained by Cap. Tommy Hunter of Castletownroche. Tommy Hunter was elected TD for North Cork in 1918 and 1921.
